I look at how the site is built and hosted first. Some hosting setups or websites are not practical to take over.
Agree on the work
A request may be one-time work, or ongoing maintenance can be scheduled separately. We agree on the scope before it starts.

I take care of the work we discussed and let you know if another issue needs a separate decision.
